FS: Sindt and Others plus Instruction

I haven't played the whistle for 8 months now. I've been concentrating on the harmonica. I thought I could do both but I need all my practice time for the blues harp. So I've got some stuff to sell. It needs a good home. Sindt D $90.00 (Like New/Made Last Year) SOLD Sindt C $95.00 (Like New/Made Las...

FS: Humphrey Concert & O'Briain Improved - Price Reduced

I'm cleaning up my whistle collection and I've got a couple of whistles that I don't play. Not because they're not great whistles. Mainly I play my Sindts and MellowDogs. Just my preference. I like the Humphrey very much and am kind of tentative about selling it. But it doesn't get much play time an...

For all intensive purposes you would be hard pressed to find a better whistle the the Freeman Tweaked Mellow Dog. These are truly great whistles. There are other whistles that are very good, ie. Sindt, Humphrey but the mellow Dog can stand up to them. I gave my Dixon away it wasn't getting the play ...

Something you might consider is the Mad For Trad DVD. Brian Finnegan is a great player and the movies are a real help to watch him play the tunes. He's got beginning and advanced tutorials. There's 17 tunes for the beginners and 22 tunes for the advanced with ornaments demonstrated. The sheet music ...

MellowDog C

I've had a MellowDog C for a couple of days now. I also own a MellowDog D. Jerry's done the same tweak on the C as he did on the D except he's used the Feadog C tube AND Fipple. When I first saw this I was worried That I've gotten a C O'Briain since the tweaks look similar. But there is no similarit...

To also chime in. It's been very beneficial for me to watch good players play. I think the "Mad for Trad" DVD and the LE McCullough DVD or video are great. Great tunes and ornaments are explained and shown. I've learned my first 20 songs with ornaments from these two instruction DVD's.
