Thank you for the information :-)

to clarify, when you have the end of your blank in a steady rest, and the other end is in some sort of chuck. How precise does this set up have to be? I don’t imagine there is much room for wobble. What method do you use for eliminating this wobble?

Thanks agan

Now I’ve read that a shell, or lamp, auger is the best tool to drill a straight hole through the blank, but who sells them in North America? All I can find are sellers base...

Hairpin

Ok, this may seem odd to ask, as I’m a short haired boy, but how does one use a hair pin or a hair stick? To clarify, when I say hair pin, I mean the two pronged fork like device about 3 to 5 inches long. And a hair stick is about the same size, but is simply a single thin cilinder, sometimes used i...

The best version of the song "Hallelujah" is the KD Lang’s live version, it is simply heartbreaking. A sample: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/tg/stores/detail/-/music/B000267J10/samples/ref=dp_nav_1/026-8041636-2383662?%5Fencoding=UTF8&n=229816&s=music If you like Rufus, check...

With my CDs, I usually just copy them on to a CD-R, and give that the abuse, and store the original in it’s case on a shelf. Also if your player can play MP3 disks, you can make a CD with many more songs then an audio disk. Or you can make the ultimate upgrade and switch to a MP3 player with a huge ...

Here are a few solutions I would suggest: Remove the cups and spoons and combine them in to one: secure them in a way so people can’t walk off with them: or get either of t...

I use mine to listen to books on tape. I’ve made my way through the whole Sherlock Homes collection and a few other books. It’s a great way to stimulate your mind when your hands are full.
