If I recall correctly, the instructions that came with my Syn set said to use vaseline. It doesn't take very much, and it lasts a long time.

Yes, I agree. They are very nice whistles. I got the complete set (from A to E) several years ago and haven't bought another whistle since. My WHOA is completely under control . . . for now.

I've always wondered about the claim that electric vehicles are "zero emission." I suppose it depends upon how your electric power is produced. If it comes from burning fossil fuels, then the claim is certainly not true, and considering the amount of energy lost in getting the power to you...

What about the safety of school aged children? My daughter heads off to school at about 7:10 am. During part of the school year she is walking in the dark. Setting the clocks forward this early in the year puts her back to walking in the dark. I commute to work by bicycle, so changing the time makes...
