I got the D/C set on ebay for $701 dollars several years ago; I talked myself into it because I was getting 2 whistles, not one and because part of it I believe went to an army base charity. I'm glad I bought the set... I'm glad you like them, Phil. BTW, the charity in question was "Military C...

Yep.

But an F whistle's secondary key is B-flat (not B Major).

Another option is to purchase a round-trip ticket and simply not use the return ticket. As I think someone already said, it's not common for a round-trip ticket to be cheaper than a single one-way ticket. FYI, I just searched 1-800-FlyEurope and searched for flights departing SLC on 14 September and...

"Oldtime" is really a fairly broad category that overlaps with a number of other genres, so "a basic repertoire" would be tough to come up with. Nevertheless, you can hear over 700 tunes and songs lifted from old 78s here: http://www.honkingduck.com/ Just click on the "78s&q...

I just checked the auction, and I'm a little taken aback. I knew O'Riordans were eagerly sought after, but I honestly didn't expect this level of interest. I must admit I feel more than a bit guilty, as I'm not comfortable making a profit off someone else's work--particularly someone as kind as Pat....

Mr. Claus was exceptionally generous this year: My O'Riordan C/D set arrived this week. The wait was long (35 months), but worth it; these are phenomenal whistles. Also, though not exactly whistle related, I found a copy of Akira Tsumura's "1001 Banjos" under the tree this morning. For you...
