These things are all relative, DCrom. I eat once a day, or I might become as fat as the average American. Inhabitants of the UK are tending to overeat.Small town shops are much cheaper than the supermarkets for wholesome food, I find. Before the problem can be dealt with it is necessary to identify ...

Perhaps the increase in the price of groceries in the US is your government's substitute for healthcare, seeing as most of the population tends to be ( grossly ) overweight. The origin of oil has quite an influence on the price. Saudi and Russian oil (which might have held the price down if the prod...

( You may, of course be right, as this one seems high pitch )

As I have just suggested it won't be solved here, Aaron. Players have been arguing the toss on cylindrical versus conical since 1850. It is down to what you like. I have a similar flute to the one mentioned which is illustrated on Mr McGee's excellent website. An eminent local flutemaker ( who I am ...

Isn't the whistle political/religious thread where the American Olympic post writing team do their practice ?
I am gobsmacked at the enormous length of the posts. If they have to read and write so much it will, I trust, keep them all out of mischief !

You are quite right in what you say, Mr Malcomb. The more sophisticated viewers aroud the world will make the proper distinction you refer to. The ignorant masses numbered in billions, however, will understand nothing of the distinction and merely see the American as an evil enemy to be hated and re...

More of the usual childish Disney like tripe, Mi6oya. Only a complete fool would confuse recognising and despising the cynical actions of the present US administration ( Which seems to work principally on behalf of Haliburton and Israel ) with America hating. When I read " Blue Highways " ...

IF Migoya understands anything ( ????? ) it should be that the evil being done around the world by the present administration in the name of America affects us all. Much of the rest of the world would love to be left out of the pantomime which is your election , but will suffer the consequences. Bil...

I see the oil ( spelled Camellia in the civilised world usually ) is described on the site you refer to as an antisceptic oil. That sounds useful !
It is non-drying, edible , waterproofing thinnish oil which is used for flutes in the east, and even in Wales.
