Re: Setanta production
Here are a few email contacts, if you haven't tried them all yet. Paraic O'Neela might also know how to get in touch with John, since it seems like Setanta whistles were being made under the O'Neela roof, and the shop still sells the Setanta-brand whistle pouches. http://www.jobwhistles.com/contact-...

Re: Digital bagpipes
Probably worth posting your query over on Non-Uilleann Piping forum the as well. I imagine some folks on that forum, particularly GHB players, would have some feedback for you. Looks like there was one sold on the forum in 2020.

Re: Cronnollys of MandE? Still in business?
Has anyone got any news of the Cronnollys of M and E flutes? They don't seem to have a functioning webpage any more. I'm interested in their 'new' RandR D five piece flute and what's so new about it ... Best wishes, Keith. Looks like they might have updated their website (and possibly web address)....

Re: WTB: Reyburn brass low D with delrin head
Stephen, have you found yourself a Reyburn low D yet? I ordered and received an alloy low D from Ronaldo last October, but returned it not long after playing it for a few weeks. It was an outstanding whistle, everything I've always heard about Reyburns, but I decided to (re)focus on the flute and a...

Re: To polish or not to polish
I personally like the look of patina on brass, but not so much on aluminum alloy. However, for the purposes of selling, I'd opt for polishing it up a bit.

Re: Goldie Narrow Bore Low D
That sounds like a brilliant whistle Stiofan! Does your whistle have thes rings on Hole 3 and Hole 6? Mine doesn't have the rings (again, it's an earlier model), but from others I've seen made more recently, that may be how Colin makes them now. https://i.imgur.com/zM6dMTCm.jpg Here's John McSherry...

Re: Goldie Narrow Bore Low D
I have an earlier model of the NB tenor D, circa 2015 with a 1.0 windway. It's an exquisite instrument, especially for playing at the top of the second octave (or into the third, if one wished to do so) -- an absolutely sweet, rich tone, doesn't require 'leaning into' as most other low whistles in t...

FS: Hammy Hamilton low D whistle - SOLD
Low D whistle made by Hammy Hamilton in 2021. Big, resonant tone as you'd expect from HH. It's a fantastic whistle, but I just don't play it enough and am saving funds for a new flute. Includes nylon pouch. $250 obo - buyer to cover shipping costs, only in US or Canada. http://www.hamiltonflutes.com...

I've got a couple of Chieftain F whistles for sale. 1. Busker tunable $150 AVAILABLE 2. OS nontunable $60 SOLD I acquired both in the past year (preowned), but aren't really playing them much so looking to sell them on to someone who'll enjoy them. I had the OS polished by a local music store so it'...
