And this map only shows those who were killed in action on Iraqi soil. You have to mulitiply it by about 10 to include those who died later from their wounds. Can you back that up? :) Yep U.S. Military Personnel who died in German hospitals or en route to German hospitals have not previously been c...

Yeah, shame on all those developed nations for forcing Africans to breed children they can't feed, engage in behavior that spreads aids and other diseases like wild fire, and put up with dictators who steal most ...

Sometimes it can be pretty sad when old bands tour far past their prime. Back in the 80's I saw BTO in a small bar in Binghampton, NY. We wondered why they were playing such a small venue but we were only kept in suspense until their first number. They showed up an hour late, had set up enough equip...

The picture is fuzzy but I'd say it's some sort of flageolet. The "squarish " hole looks like a fipple. I'm not sure what the hole above that would be (if it is indeed a hole, it's kind of hard to see) unless maybe you block it for sound, unblock it for no sound, but that would imply that ...

Sounds like you're describing a melody flute - basically a cheap side blown flute with a mouthpiece instead of just a hole.

So now it's "selfish" to want to propogate one's own genes instead of cleaning up everyone else's messes?! That aside, adopting is not easy. I currently know at least two families who recently adopted because they could not have children of their own. Both went through years of what...

If you just wanna practice then a multi-track recorder (or multi-track recording software like Kristal) should be a great tool. If you can learn to harmonize with your own voice without drifting onto the melody you can probably harmonize with anyone. The best part is that electronics don't have righ...
