I forgot why I used to come here every day. Now I remember:

It's the only place where you can find such atypical internet pnenomenon as constructive thread hijacking.

I believe that, with one look at my avatar, any right-minded person would know what I voted for.

Asking a deposit would just make situations like this one more awkward (even if less common).

I like the trick where you just rest the fipple on the bottom of the lip and blow into the windway to make an airy sound. You can disguingish notes just fine, and it's very quiet.

You can certainly try levering the windway back up with a secredriver or pliers or the like. My problem was that I unconciously used the blade as a fulcrum. things went downhill from there.
