Hey, you big whistlesmith! I see that you're doing well with the Delrin whistles (cool beans! :) ), and want you to know that the "wooden" playing of them examples of mine is actually "Delrin" playing. From Busman, no less. So I can't even blame the durn whistle!

Got acetal?

Just because it's been over six hours since anybody posted to this thread and it's slipping dangerously near the bottom of the first page... :moreevil:

Youth in Asia!!!

Youth in Asia!!!

That's what this thread needs:

Youth in Asia. :D

(it helps if you read it aloud; probably having a Southern drawl doesn't hurt either)

I haven't read any of the previous pages of this thread. I don't even understand what I'm doing here. And, I don't understand or approve of why I'm posting. I almost feel victimized.

CAN IT BE???

Post by billw »

This thread is finally running down??

Here's some more stuff to fire your imaginations and probably make you retch... How about seeing some (very) preliminary audition video of my group, the Loch Ness Minstrels!

People in Ireland probably won't be able to understand it. It's not IrTrad, and the accents are anywhere from Southeast USA to Scotland, so it's probably not worth wasting your bandwidth to download the video. Besides, unless I'm sadly mistaken, you're using PAL/SECAM, and the video is NTSC.

Oh. Crap. It's QuickTime, which runs anywhere. What the heck... critique to your heart's content. We've already been hired by 6 of the larger festivals, so at least somebody likes us! :D

http://www.gonemissing.us/audition1.html

Actually, I think you'll enjoy. The language is PG-13, the innuendo and double-entendre stuff is more adult. But that's not up there yet! ;)

... and I don't make the quiet, airy, heavy brass whistles anymore, and haven't for quite a long while... sorry, nobody can buy one!
