Great book. You might find that checking a web site for hammered dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, clawhammer banjo music will have a lot of "old timey" tunes you can adapt to the whistle.

Thanks for all of you providing the information about old-timey music. I would appreciate if someone could let us know the copyright of those old-timey music that we know which melody we can play in public and which one we cannot.
