true, military service is compulsary for every male in switzerland, unless you're a psycho, or ill or something like that. I myself have got a pisole at home, with ammo, but I'm not allowed to use that ammo, cuz that's war-ammo. not allowed to open it. hahah...in case of war, i would be serving in the war-hospitals, therefore I don't have a big gun, just a pistole, 9mm, hehee....only the soldiers with the big guns have to go shooting annually, not compulsary with the pistole. crazy place here, i know..blackhawk wrote:I heard somewhere that ownership of fully automatic assault rifles is required by law in Switzerland. And that male citizens are required to own them, the ammo for them and to qualify with them annually. Is that true, Amar?geek4music wrote:Now that you mention it, how has Switzerland maintained neutrality through centuries of warlords tramping all over the continent? Is it some kind of forcefield thingy?amar wrote:i live in switzerland, this is a neutral country.

- Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.
