For heaven's sake, let's not let Weekenders find out about this or he'll be off on a rant about the ACLU trying to get the plus sign removed as an addition operator while the dadaists run amok with government support in Lawrence, Kansas.

This is my home town, and I, for one, am glad to see this city commission addressing this kind of serious issue instead of concentrating all of its effort on routinely kissing the ass of the Chamber of Commerce, as has been the practice with earlier administrations.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Crud. I left the ball-bearings out of the turkey this year. I knew something was missing.
Happily tooting when my dogs let me.

As part of the proclamation, Highberger will utter the “zimzim” phrase, from a poem by Dada founder Hugo Ball, the late German author and poet.
this sounds like he is trying to plan spontaneity
