The Dave Williams (Pipe) Set

Post by tommyfegan »

Josephine Keegan has written a 3 part jig dedicated to the memory of Dave Williams, and in honor of the last set of pipes that Dave made (of which I am the lucky reciient)
Its a nice tune- made for pipes, and if anyone wants it, email me and I'll send it as an attachment, unless there's a way of posting it here somewhere.

Depends on the format. If it is written in abc, you can post here as text. If it is in standard music notation, you can store it as a gif image on your own web site, and then put a link to it here. Same if you just have it as an mp3. Post it on your own web site and link to it from here.

I'm sure we'd all be interested in hearing it.

It'd be great to collect some more tune and the fact that it was written in someone's memory gives it a history. Here's my email address l42bb@yahoo.com.au . Could you also send me along a sound sample as well. It's one thing to read traditional irish music it's another thing to play it.

Cheers L42B :)
